What is Life Coaching?

So, you’ve tried therapy. You’ve tried counseling. Helpful, but it still didn’t do the trick. Now you want to attack your problems from a more spiritual perspective. You want to set goals, and you want to achieve them. You don’t simply want to vent endlessly, you want progress and results. You want someone to hold you accountable, and you want to go through the process with someone who has the tools because they’ve been exactly where you are at one point in their life.

That’s where spiritual coaching comes in. Or, that’s where I can come in, at least.

A coach's goal is to support and empower you to meet your self-made goals and achieve growth and success in your life. In a coaching session, a client will identify what is important to him or her personally, professionally, and spiritually, and the coach and client will work together to make sure your thoughts and your actions start to align. Negative thinking can’t creative an abundant, positive life. Limiting beliefs can’t create abundance. You get it?

In coaching, the client does their own introspection, while the coach facilitates the conversation through powerful questioning and support.

Benefits of Spiritual and Life Coaching

  • Increase your self-esteem

  • Learn healthy communication styles

  • Foster emotional balance

  • Discover your passions and experience joy

  • Set personal, professional, and romantic boundaries

  • Eliminate old patterns, like toxic relationships or unsuccessful diets

  • Release anger and resentment and seek forgiveness for yourself and others

  • Feel re-energized and have a shift to a more positive life perspective

  • Set and meet goals: from losing weight, getting rid of clutter, to finally writing that book

  • Get to the root of your limiting beliefs and insecurities

Coaching is done with… a certificated coach. A coach is not a licensed therapist, which is why I suggest that all of my clients be in therapy simultaneously, or have been in therapy in the past, for issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, etc. However, coaching is beneficial because it is a completely non-judgmental space that uses some tools that therapy does not.

In our sessions together, I like to combine formal life coaching with reiki, cord cutting, EFT Tapping, breath work, and guided meditation in order to achieve deep and long lasting results.
